He is survived by: his children, Maureen Kroness (John), Laura Nacu (Bernie), Marianne McGhee (Mike) and Patrick Cahill (Sheila); his brother Paul Cahill (Diana); his grandchildren, Clare Lucas (Kenton), Emily Kroness, Ryan Cahill (Katie), Genna Bezold (Tyler), Katie Nacu (Michael Belarde), Maria Nacu, Caroline McGhee (Otto Bruner) and Craig McGhee (Isabela); and his great grandchildren, Trip, Harry, Michael, Cooper and Myles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice 483 South Loop Rd Edgewood, KY 41017.
