With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Ione Smith (Fort Mitchell, Kentucky), who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gardiner and Margaret Gardiner; and her grandson John Howard. She is survived by: her husband Howard Smith; her children, Lisa Hughes (Duane), Todd Smith (Andrea) and Shannon Gerak (Patrick); and her grandchildren, Griffin (Lauren), Brenton, Garrett, Brady, Madelynne, Mya, Morgan and Bennett.
