He is survived by: his wife Susan Schmidt; his children, Dan Schmidt (Glenda), Missie Lunnemann (Don) and Rob Schmidt (Ashley); his grandchildren, Drew, Jake, Rylee, Robbie and Peyton; and his siblings, Roy Schmidt and Marilyn Groneck.
