He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard and Edith Kemplin (Troescher); his son Rick Kemplin; and his brother Charles Robert Kemplin. He is survived by: his wife Pat Kemplin; his daughter Vicki Phantholt; his grandchildren, Keith Plantholt, Kyle Plantholt (Jenn), Eric Plantholt, Rick Kemplin and David Kemplin; his great grandchild Maddie Plantholt; and his siblings, Flo and Lonnie Kemplin (Laura).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dobbling Funeral Home (106 S Ft Thomas Ave, Fort Thomas, KY 41075). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
