He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hensley and Pauline Hensley; his son Jody Hensley; and his brother Gene Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Hensley; his children, Jim Hensley Jr. (Rhonda), John Hensley, Matthew Roell (Jennifer) and Sharon Summers (Chad); his grandchildren, Natalie Summers, Grant Summers, Mackenzie Roell, Mathew Roell Jr., Claire Summers and Shelby Hensley; and his brothers, John Hensley and Larry Hensley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
