He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dierig and Elizabeth Dierig; and his siblings, Dick, Bob, Suzi, Jack, Shirley, Ann, Jim, Ron, Claire, Paul, Winona, Charlie and Mary Lou.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Colonel Patrick (Lori), Jay Dierig (Kristie) and Julie Dierig; his grandchildren, Henry, Heidi, Max and Joey Dierig; and his siblings, Pat, Don, Walt, Carol and Tom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
