He was predeceased by: his parents, William True and Celvina True; his wife Dorothy True; his son Anthony Kent True; his sons-in-law, Joe Werdman and Greg Rose; and his siblings, Golda Hampton, Alma Jett, James and Jessie True.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Werdman, Gary True (Beverly), Patti McGill (Tom), Craig True (Thea), Kevin True (Michelle), David True (Heather) and Sherri Rose; his son-in-law Joe Devney; and his sister Fredia Williams. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and a large and loving extended family, including nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring (4410 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
