The memory of Lu Buechel of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Lu find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Melvin Buechel; and her daughter Cathy Weber (Tony). She is survived by: her children, Chuck Buechel, Carol Weber (Gene), Connie Cahill (Dan) and Chris Franxman (Jim); and her son-in-law Tony Weber. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home (427 S Ft Thomas Ave, Fort Thomas, KY 41075).
In memory of Lu, memorial donations are suggested to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
