She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Schalk and Bertha Schalk (Wirsch); her husband Gilbert Reis; her son Jim Reis; and her siblings, Ralph, Charles Schalk, Dorothy Stienes, Berdie Thomas and Velma Gubser.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Reis (Janet), David Reis (Karen), Donna Taylor (Brian Hoffman) and Patti Neltner (Roger); her daughter-in-law Jan Reis; her sister Jean Nehus; and her sister-in-law Ruth Schalk. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, & 28 great-grandchildren.
