He was predeceased by: his parents, James Botuchis and Vilma Botuchis (Spaccarelli); his wife Joyce Ann Benge; and his former wife Kathy Botuchis. He is survived by: his son Matthew Botuchis; his stepchildren, Eric Recker (Mayumi), Doug Recker (Donna), Nick Benge and Jill Benge-Lembright (Tye); his grandchildren, Jacob, Logan and Koseh; and his siblings, David Botuchis (Jo Ann), Jim Botuchis (Carolyn), Tom Botuchis and Kathy Johnson (Don). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grace Fellowship Church (90 Alexandria Pike, Fort Thomas, KY 41075). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made in Steve's name to: Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family has chosen to send donations to Alzheimer's Association Greater Cincinnati ChapterDonate Now (https://www.alz.org).
