He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Miller (Shane) and Bobbie Barnes-Steltenkamp (Bob); his stepdaughter Kelly DeBruler; his siblings, Wayne Barnes (Elizabeth), Rusty Barnes (Debbie), Lynn Ferguson (Tom), Lori Bestfelt, Candace Sparks (Donny), Kurt Barnes (Denise), Danny Barnes (Jeanette) and Frosty Barnes (Kelly); his grandchildren, Aiden, Mackenzie, Skylar, Caleb, Noah and Nevaeh; and his wife Darlene.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Bellevue Vets Hall.
