He is survived by: his wife Carole Simpson (Simpson); his children, Jenny Rice (Dick), Lisa Brown (Thomas) and Michael Holmes (Becki); his sister Rebecca E. Holmes; his grandchildren, Molly Jacks (Michael), Lauren Rice (Ryan Lafollette), Meredith Brown, Colin Brown, Beau Brown, Sophie Brown, Gibson Holmes, Beckett Holmes, Libby Holmes and Polly Holmes; and his great grandchild Charlotte Jacks.
