He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Gallagher (Christopher); his grandchildren, William, Benjamin, Margaret and Edward Gallagher; his sisters, Elizabeth, Anne (Martin) and Frances (James); and his brother-in-law Robert Murphy (late Peggy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
