He was predeceased by: his mother Marilyn Behrmann; and his brother David Bussell. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Lynn Bussell; his daughter Hailey Bussell; his father James Bussell (Patsy); his stepfather Gary Behrmann; his niece Kendra; and his nephew Justin Bussell.
