He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Whitacre; and his niece Andrea Salter. He is survived by: his wife Gwyn; his children, Brian (Yassa), Joey (José), Beth (Libby) and Andrew (Andrew); his mother Mary; his siblings, Jerry, Marty, Kenny and Angela; and his grandchildren, Kyle and Alex.
