He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Schmitz and Rose Schmitz (Maiorino). He is survived by: his children, Joseph and Julia Schmitz-Reid (Kameron); and his siblings, Barb Rawe (Tim), Don (Sherri), Sue Mills (late Charlie) and Steve (Kathy). He is also survived by his 2 nieces, 5 great nieces, 7 nephews, and 11 great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Agnes Church (1608 Dixie Hwy, Park Hills, KY 41011). A Mass was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
