It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Owens (Frankfort, Kentucky), who passed away on July 6, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Owens and Polly Jane Bush Owens; and his siblings, Adron Owens, Elmer Owens, Arvil Owens, Kenneth Owens, Bessie Cornett and Geneva Thomas Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jean Owens; his children, Richard D. Owens (Lydia), Carla M. Owens Spencer (Brian) and Harlan A. Owens; his grandchildren, Daniel Joseph Owens, Adrian Spencer, Jessie Owens and Riley Owens; and his siblings, Everett Owens, Orson Owens (Kathy), Georgia Garland Coleman and Sharon Russell. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
