She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Grigsby and Sylvania Terry Grigsby; her husband David William Strong; and her siblings, William Grigsby, Lowell Ray Grigsby, James Pete Grigsby, Jesse Paul Grigsby, Ted Messer, Drucilla Faye Cox and Pearl Sue Grigsby.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky David Strong (Carolyn) of Frankfort, Timothy Strong (Gail) of Frankfort and Vicki Williams (Larry) of Frankfort; her sister Rachel Louise Grigsby of Tribbey; and her grandchildren, Larry Richard Williams, Jr., Kristy Lynn Spicer (Dale), Larissa Kay Rhody (JohnMark), Candace Combs (Randall), Chelsey Young (Nick), Timberly White (Freddie), Brian Strong (Mary Francis Smith), Brandi Mitchell and Lucia Lee Lafferty. She is also survived by twenty four great-grandchildren; and ten great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Hearne Funeral Home (125 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
