She was predeceased by: her parents, Judge Robert B. Bird and Edna Davis Bird; her stepmother Mable Isaacs Chance; and her siblings, Charles Mullins and Edna Beard.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Pennington; her sons, Bill Jr. (Vickie), Bob (Jessica) and Brad (Angie); and her grandchildren, Will (Bridget), Courtney (Jake), Jacob (Carla), John (Treyana), Jared, Molly (Zack), Emma (Holt), Kate, Lily, Katherine, Drew and Laney. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the First Christian Church (316 Ann St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Barbara Pennington Memorial Scholarship Fund, 4227 Georgetown Rd. Frankfort, KY 40601.
