He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Buchwald and Emmy Ueltschi Buchwald; his sister Martha Buchwald; his father-in-law Dwight Sarver; and his sister-in-law Sandy Sarver McClain.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sarver Buchwald; his mother-in-law Julia Sarver; his cousins, Ronnie Penn (Debbie) and Mike Penn (Rhoda); Jamie, Kristin and Brandon. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
