Billy Metts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Metts of Frankfort, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Dawson Metts and Lona Tincher Brumback Metts; his wife Brenda Maxine Sutherland Metts; his daughter Lisa Metts Triplett; and his siblings, Bobby Metts, Roy Metts, Betty Cline and Imogene Redmon.
He is survived by: his son Billy J. "Jay" Metts (Christie); his grandchildren, Darien Metts (Tyler) and Lauren Cloud (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, River, Hadley, Carter and Dawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home (312 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
