She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Ahler and Lucy Ahler; and her brother Daniel Ahler of Frankfort, KY.. She is survived by: her friend Heavenly; her sons, Brandon Gaines of Lexington, KY, Henry, Harvey and Jason Gaines (Christine) of Woodstock, GA; her sister Mary Kathryn Aarsvold of Kasson, MN; and her nephew Paul Aarsvold (Val) of Altura, MN.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Carolyn's memory to St. Vincent de Paul Society of Frankfort.
