In the vast expanse of eternity, Cecil shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Cecil farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Eddie Ray Long; his daughter Rebecca Lynette Chappell; and his brother Billy Carol Long. He is survived by: his wife Christina Long; his children, Jeromy Long (Dorothy), Chad Long, Christa Currens (Jeff), Toni Fultz and Jasmine Long; his mother Patricia Ann Edwards Maupin; and his siblings, Sam Long (Carolyn) and Patty Gipson (Paul). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
