It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Stokes of Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Connie Stokes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Anglin and Callopie Anglin; and her significant other Tim Ayres. She is survived by: her children, Michele Stokes Barnes (Jim) and Joey Stokes (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Destinee Frye (Greg), Blake Stokes, Joseph Stokes, Summer McKinney, Cole Barnes, Ashley Barnes and Sarah Barnes; and her siblings, Philip Anglin (Robbie), Danny Anglin (Janice), Kathy Edwards, Hubie Anglin (Pam) and Mark Anglin. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Connie requested that donations be made to the Capital City Activity Center, in honor of the friendships and joy she found there in her later years, or to the American Diabetes Association.
