He was predeceased by : his parents, George R. Sr. Pauley and Virginia Pauley (Becky L. Rhea Pauley). He is survived by : his wife Sue Pauley; his sons, David (Lisa) and Rick Pauley; and his siblings, Tom Pauley (Gloria) and Diane Perkins. He is also survived by three stepchildren, several grandchildren, step grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
He retired from the state government and remained active with charity work, gardening, and cheering for his Kentucky Wildcats.
