With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald O. Cassidy (Frankfort, Kentucky), born in Vanceburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 98. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Owen Cassidy and Hannah Pauline Harrison Cassidy; his wife Joye Joseph Cassidy; his siblings, Eugene Cassidy, William Cassidy, Ruby Cassidy McClurg and June Cassidy Argo; and his son Daniel Cassidy.
He is survived by: his grandson Joshua Cassidy; and his daughter-in-law Ashley Cassidy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home (312 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
