He is survived by: his wife Pam Pendleton; his sons, Dewayne Holder, Russ Pendleton and Jacob Pendleton; his brother Leon Pendleton; his grandchildren, Bailey Holder, Clay Holder, Jackson Pendleton, Mason Pendleton, William Pendleton and Warren Pendleton; and his great grandchild Simon Holder.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trooper Island or Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation.
