We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2026, at the age of 72, Eva Haynes of Frankfort, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Burnam Short and Vola Merralle Richardson Short; and her siblings, Neal Short, Jr., Ronnie Short and Joyce Cooke.

She is survived by: her son Jerry McGuire; her siblings, Chris Short (Donna), Janice Brewer (Danny), Charlotte Brophy (Franklin), Connie Andersen (Helge) and Tammie Stamper (Mark); and her granddaughter Allie McGuire. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome or expressions of sympathy may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
