He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Cardwell and Effie Riddle Cardwell. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Anne Owens; his children, Ann Gill and Lee Cardwell; his granddaughter Stephanie Turner; and his great grandchild Caleb Turner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home (1725 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
