It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary B. LaFleur (Frankfort, Kentucky), born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Bernard LaFleur; and his grandchild Raeleigh Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Cathie Long; his mother Lucette LaFleur (Boivin); his children, Aubin Whitaker (Craig), Richmond, Alyssa (Nathan) and James (Sheila); his sister Doreen (Roy); and his grandchildren, Danielle, Alayna, Thomas, Frances, John, Louis and Lucia.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the MSU Foundation to support the Dr. Gary LaFleur Scholarship Fund for MSU students studying strategic communication.
