He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shelby Travis and Martha Thomas Tandy Travis; his son Jeffrey Roland Travis; and his siblings, Helen Louise Aldridge, Kenneth Shelby, William Douglas, Charles Louis, Leroy Keaton, Billy Ray, Shirley Wayne, Zane Gray and Lloyd Coleman (The Travis Boys).
He is survived by: his wife Doris Anderson Travis; his daughters, Stacy Travis Moore (Larry) and Stephanie Travis Cassidy (Paul); his grandchildren, Lauren Moore Milligan (Brad), Aidan Travis Cassidy and Eva Claire Travis Cassidy; and his great grandchild Olivia Rose Milligan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home (312 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
