We announce the death of Jerry V. Day Jr. (Frankfort, Kentucky), who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 70. Jerry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Jerry Virgil Day; his wife Martha Ann Ethington Day; his children, Rebecca M. Day and Raymond Day (Amanda); his stepsons, James Barnes (Sarah), Shawn Barnes and Eric Boyd; his siblings, Jeannie Cox (Tim) and Fred Day (Teresa); his grandchildren, Katie Day, Lexi White, Casey Barnes and William Barnes; and his brothers, Gregory Day and Timothy Day.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home (507 W 2nd St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Jerry's loving wife Martha.
