It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lou Young of Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Logan Combs and Mary Alice Hensley Combs; her husband William Jennings Young; and her son William Thomas Young. She is survived by: her son Timothy Lee Young; her siblings, Tony Combs, Phyllis and Betty Sue; her grandchildren, Lily Elizabeth Baker, Rachel Allison Young, Annabel Lee Young, EmmaLee Paige Wright, Ethan Alexander Young and Mitchell Gregory Letulle; and her great grandchildren, Cecil and Everett Wright. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home (312 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
