Though Jimmy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jimmy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Sewell and Carrie Bell Thuman Sewell; and his brother Joe Sewell. He is survived by: his siblings, Deliliah Loman, Charlie Sewell (Karen), Shirley Moore (Louie), Libby Andersen (James) and Paul Sewell. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home (312 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to American Heart Association or Bluegrass Hospice Care.
