She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carpenter and Zorada Carpenter; and her siblings, Willeta Wright, William "Buddy" Carpenter, Ernie Carpenter and Edward Carpenter.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Gilbert; her grandchildren, Eli, Carly, John Thomas, Isaac, Jude, Selah, Carter, Cora Lee and Elizabeth; and her sons, John and Jason. She is also survived by her husband, and spending time with her family and friends.
