She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelly Guy Gilbert and Mattie Lee Monroe Gilbert; her husband JB Daniels; her brothers, Floyd Gilbert and Coleman Gilbert; and her son-in-law Andy Griffith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Griffith and Martha Kay McDaniel (Buddy); her grandchildren, Kelly Lewis (Rob), Todd McDaniel (Bekah), Justin McDaniel (Joa), Glenn Kipp, Laurie Griffith-Mealy (Pete), Robin Glass and Graham Griffith (Brooke); and her great grandchildren, Courtney, Megan, Will, Wren, Iris, Eleanor, Andrew, Daniel, Rosalie and Adrian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
