We are sad to announce that, on October 3, 2022, at the age of 72, Lena Carmickle in Frankfort, Kentucky, born in Winchester, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Newkirk and Ruby Katherine Barnes Newkirk; and her siblings, John Wayne Newkirk and Wilma Brook. She is survived by: her husband Robert T. "Bob" Carmickle; her daughter Elizabeth Carmickle (Josh Grider) of Lawrenceburg; her stepdaughter Leann Carmickle; her grandchildren, Isabelle Howard, Piper Howard and Eastlyn Grider; and her stepgrandchildren, Sarah and Matthew Blessinger.
