He was predeceased by: his father Charles Howell; his grandson John Spaulding; and his sisters, Pauline Johnson, Lois Burns and Roberta Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Spaulding; his children, Joseph Spaulding of Lexington, Jane Perry (Steve) of Frankfort and Judy Pack (Joe) of Georgetown; his brothers, Edward Spaulding of Frankfort and Charles Spaulding (Lillie) of Texas; his grandchildren, Angela Warde (Mike) of Maine, Clayton Pack (Beth) of Lexington and Amanda Farris (Jason) of Lexington; his great grandchildren, Braden Warde, Hudson Warde and Nora Pack; and his brother-in-law George Owens of Versailles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to St. Vincent de Paul and/or Bluegrass Care Navigators.
