She was predeceased by: her parents, Roxie Hunter and Kenneth Smith; her husbands, Robert McDonald and Carey Hieatt; and her siblings, Fred, Alex Smith, Betty Jean Poynter and Louise Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" McDonald, Perry McDonald and Susan Cunningham. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home (1725 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
