She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Jackson Lewis; her husband Elisha Johnson Black; her son William C. "Billy" Black; and her brother Andy Lewis. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Richardson and Carolyn Barrass (Ken); her grandchildren, Larry Richardson, Jordan Barrass, Ryan Barrass, Eli Black and Jenny Mae Black; her great grandchildren, Riley Barrass and Larry Richardson, III; and her siblings, Alvin Snipes, Thelma Finch, Dolly Jenkins and Esther Bell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
