She was predeceased by: her father David Holbert; and her brothers, James Cambron, Franklin Cambron and Louis Holbert. She is survived by: her husband Charles Francis Whelan; her sons, Mark Whelan (Maurita) and Chad Whelan (Sandra); her grandson Andrew Whelan; and her siblings, Mary Sue Estep, William Holbert (Ann), Nancy Armstrong (Kenneth), Ronald Holbert (Margaret), Donald Holbert (Sharon) and Charles Holbert (Beverly). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or Bluegrass Hospice Care in Mrs. Whelan's memory.
