He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph Elder, Sr. and Ruby Evelyn Sheehan Elder; his daughter Angela Marie Elder; and his brother Charles Joseph Elder, Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Terry Ann Elder; his children, Martin A. "Marty" Elder, II (Lori) of Waddy and Paula L. Williams of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Thomas Elder (Caitlyn), Madison Elder and Alexis Williams Warford (Cameron); and his sister-in-law Jane Miller Elder. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (120 N Gatewood St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
