With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Helen True of Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Helen True to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hollis Grider and Florence Beatrice Drury Grider; and her brothers, Hollis Charles Grider (HC), Billy Buford Grider and Russell Andrew Grider.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Faye Harp of Frankfort, Michael Thomas True (Georgie) of Clarksville and Larry Scott True (Becky) of Frankfort; and her sisters, Betty Ray Grider Hughes and Katherine Barnes (Marion) of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 55 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home (312 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
