With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie Kauffeld of Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrl Lee Manley Sr. and Katherine "Kitty" Joyce Higgins Willham; her husband Robert James "Bob" Kauffeld; and her brothers, Jimmy Manley, Joe Manley and Danny Manley.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Spencer, Jr. (Melissa) of Lawrenceburg, Kenneth Spencer of Frankfort, Bryan Kauffeld of Alabama and Jennifer Goddard (Mike) of Alabama; and her siblings, Ruth Ann Hazlett of Owenton, Burl Manley Jr. (Brenda) of Frankfort and Michael Manley of New Mexico.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home (312 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
