He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Sloan and Billie Rose Waford Sloan; his wife Larae Carol Neal Sloan; and his great grandchild Dylan. He is survived by: his children, Michael Sloan (Tabitha), Janene Jones (Roy) and Devin Sloan (Greg); his siblings, Cindy Morgan (Frank), Roger Sloan, Jerry Sloan (Connie) and Jeff Sloan (Linda); his grandchildren, Destiny, Dakota, Jordyn, Brooklyn, Charity, Heaven, Giaonni, Makayla, Javon, James Michael, Micayla, Trevor and Ana; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Hadlee, Shiloh, Gunner and Steyr; and his pet Lucy Lou. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Oldham County Humane Society.
