It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia S. Whitley of Frankfort, Kentucky, born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Anna Lucille Sloop Searcy and Jack T. Searcy; her husband James Weir Blackburn I; her former husband Ralph Whitley; her grandson Cain T. Mitchell; her children, J. W. Blackburn II (Martha), Barbara Blackburn, Carol Mitchell (Rick Pope) and Janice Tomes; and her grandchildren, Charles T. Mitchell, Carter Stinnett, Julia Blackburn, Caroline Blackburn and Nicole Tomes.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Red Cross and/or Bluegrass Care Navigators of Frankfort (Hospice).
