Phyllis Woolum Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Woolum (Frankfort, Kentucky), who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen McCreary and Ora Wilson McCreary; her husband Marvin Woolum; and her son-in-law Tony Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Michael Woolum, Lisa Moore and Michele "Shelly" Johnson; her grandchildren, Jordan Woolum (Kripa), Dylan Woolum (Ashton), Amanda Woolum, Chelsea Monsma (Rob) and Courtney Ryan; and her sister Betty Reynolds. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home (1725 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
