He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carter and Zettie Stewart Carter; and his brother Edward "Coke" Baldwin. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Carter; and his children, Ruth Lamphier (Dennis), Heather Jennings and Chester Ferguson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Funeral Homes (202 N Main, Owenton, KY 40359). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Carter family.
