As Roger departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roger leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lawrence and Bernice Banton Futrell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ballard Futrell; and his son Shawn B. Futrell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home (507 W 2nd St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Frankfort Cemetery (215 E Main St, Frankfort, KY 40601).
