It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley B. Chisholm of Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Bohannon and Lola Fortner Bohannon; her husband Charles Franklin Chisholm; her son-in-law Ron Howe; her siblings, Catherine Wood, Gerald Bohannon, Ronald Bohannon and Leon Bohannon (Dorothy); and her brother-in-law Carrel Adams.

She is survived by : her children, Suzanne Howe of Frankfort, Whitney Chisholm of Frankfort, Scott Quire (Kay) of Frankfort, Trudy Waldrop (Kevin) of Owenton, Tim Chisholm (Rhonda) of Monterey and Troy Chisholm of Frankfort; her siblings, Barbara Adams of Frankfort, Julian (Jeanne) of Shelbyville and Leland Bohannon (Betty) of Louisville; her siblings-in-law, Dottie Bohannon of Eminence, Ardith Bohannon of Lexington and Clinton Wood of Oldham Co; her grandchildren, Seth Weber, Ryan Quire, Luke Quire, Ashley Bryant, Noah Bryant, Courtney Sides and Veronica Chisholm; and her great grandchildren, Makaylah Jennings, Justin Jennings, Jr., Paisley Weber, Liam Weber and Brynn Buniff.
